That is why Lakeside Academy distinguishes itself by creating a safe, caring and nurturing environment where children are happy and continually preparing for a bright future.
Our unique approach to learning blends the two leading philosophies of teaching children. One of those philosophies promotes a child-initiated approach, in which children are free to explore their individual interests with teacher support. The other places a greater emphasis on teacher direction, where an established curriculum leads children along a consistent path of learning.
Through this integrated approach, we combine the best of both philosophies. We let the particular interests of each child serve as the launching point towards healthy social, emotional, physical and academic development, while teachers guide them to self-assurance and prepare them for lifelong academic and social success.
Our secure campus at Lakeside Academy consists of our 7,ooo square foot school with a very spacious playground in a natural setting. Our playground features commercial grade equipment, which is developmentally appropriate for the age groups served. The main part of the playground is fully covered.

Your Child Means Everything to Us
Lakeside Academy and Preschool takes a holistic approach to early childhood education. At the core of our philosophy, we believe that each child is unique and therefore deserves individual attention and care. Because of their innate curiosity, it is up to us at Lakeside Academy and Preschool to develop suitable activities based on our observations of each child's individual needs.
Our curriculum reflects this comprehensive and highly individualized approach. Kids are divided into different groups during one part of the day in an effort to provide them with developmentally appropriate activities. At other times, children of all ages play together in order to learn from one another – the younger ones as learners, the older kids as role models.
In addition to the basic skills required for a lifetime of learning, Lakeside Academy and Preschool imparts values such as creativity, self-reliance, compassion and respect for diversity. In order to achieve this goal, it is essential for us to work closely with you, the parents, to provide the best possible situation for your children.
Our Preschool program (ages 1–3) includes:

Our Private Pre Kindergarten program (ages 4 - 5) includes:

At Lakeside Academy and Preschool, we prioritize your child's individual growth through high-quality education and care. Our carefully selected teachers hold at least a CDA, with many earning advanced degrees, and undergo continuous training to stay updated with the best teaching practices. With a low student-teacher ratio, we provide personalized attention to support each child's unique learning journey.

parental involvement
Together We Grow
Parents play a key role in a child’s early development. Nonetheless, the significance of parental involvement is often underestimated at the preschool and pre kindergarten level. That's why at Lakeside Academy and Preschool we encourage regular communication among parents and teachers.
We invite parents to join regular meetings where we discuss the overall development of our students. The progress of your child can be discussed in scheduled one-on-one meetings. In addition, we sometimes ask parents to help out with the planning and execution of special projects, programs and other activities.
